As with most of my embroidery, this piece started with the threads - they're hand dyed by the lovely Clare from Hope Jacare up in sunny Scotland, and the colours just made me think of the wonderful autumn displays in the Isabella Plantation in Richmond park - near to us. I laid down a base of horizontal and vertical satin stitch, and then went to town on the french knots using the different thicknesses and textures to create an impressionistic textured abstract landscape. A really enjoyable piece to stitch and wear.

Full description
A beautiful hand embroidered pendant, inspired by beautiful autumn gardens and made with the finest hand dyed silk and cotton threads and mounted in a wooden mini hoop pendant frame.
The pendant measures 3cm in diameter, (plus another 8mm for the hanging part), and hangs from a hand dyed silk string by way of a nickel free antique brass bolt and jump ring. The wooden frame means it's incredibly light to wear, especially given the size. It's completely unique, won't be repeated and will make an eye catching necklace.
It will arrive packaged in an hand made slim gift box/envelope, ready for you to give as a gift or enjoy yourself.
