I made some little boots whilst playing around with polymer clay and this little character kind of emerged from them! I love the way my creatures take on a life of their own while I'm in the process of making.

Handmade Easter Bunny, Needle felted rabbit, Rabbit in a raincoat, Grey Bunny, Easter gift, Animal collectible, Rabbit figurine
Approximately 7.5" tall
A handmade needle felted bunny wearing a stripey hooded raincoat, patterned dress and blue boots. This little rabbit is holding a tiny yellow chick and keeping him safe. She is all ready for April showers and splashing about in puddles in her little yellow and white raincoat and blue wellies. Handmade from grey wool sculpted over a wire armature, many hours of love and attention have gone into creating this endearing character. Her little boots are made from polymer clay which gives her some weight and stability to stand independently (with some gentle adjustments). This would make a lovely Easter gift or equally a quirky ornament for animal lovers or fans of miniatures. It would make a sweet addition as an ornament for a nursery although should be kept away from little hands. This is not a toy and should be handled carefully - it is intended only for decorative use. Her clothes are not removable.
