Full description
A beautiful silk and wool textile art sunset landscape mounted picture. This picture has been created using needle felting technique to bind strips of coloured silk fabrics and woollen fibres to a piece of backing felt. Using a needle felting technique eliminates the need for stitching whilst adding a beautiful texture to the surface of the picture. The raw edges of the fabric have been left exposed in places to add to the artwork.
The final piece has been mounted onto a piece of thick card (5" x 5") and a cream coloured mount added (picture area 3.5" x 3.5") leaving it ready to be framed. The listing is for the card backed picture with mount only. The photographs illustrate how the final piece might look framed but the frame is not included in the listing. Please note, photographs of the framed piece have been taken with the glass removed to avoid reflections.
