Harris Tweed is a lovely fabric to work with, you can really feel the quality. Each roll is make on handlooms in weavers' sheds on the Outer Hebridean Island of Harris, the clicketey clack of the looms can be heard on the crofts all over the island. I love pairing the tweed with printed cotton furnishing fabrics to make items for the home.
