Beautiful cute piece. I was inspired by the beautiful colours and patterns that heavily adorn the wonderful Ndebele Tribe, Africa.
Women are known to express their individuality also sense of self worth through colours and intricate patterns.
This piece has many soft layers to the background I hoped to demonstrate depth of their beautiful traditions via subtle texture, lines and touches of gold. Subtly framing the beauty as well as importance of the bold traditional attire.
I truly hope I was able to do some justice in highlighting the true essence, of the Ndebele people’s captivating craftsmanship.
