Full description
This upcycled denim shoulder hobo bag has been made from a pair of faded pre-loved jeans. It’s large, roomy and slouchy and generous enough for throwing in all your everyday essentials and more!
It’s lined with a flowered cotton poplin in reds, blacks and oranges. The shoulder strap has been designed to incorporate the fabric of the bag and has a short section of russet red webbing sitting comfortably on the shoulder and complimenting the lining of the bag.
The front of the bag has usable pockets from the jeans and inside, there's a slip pocket divided for phone, pens etc, and a large slip pocket with a snap closure for added security. The front of the bag also has an appliqued leather flower which picks out the colours of the lining. For those of us who lose our keys in the bottom of our bag, there's a swivel lobster clasp secured to the inside of the bag with a grosgrain ribbon. A bronze tone magnetic closure secures the opening of the bag.
The bag is slouchy and lightweight, but has been carefully constructed to be sturdy enough for everyday use and would pack flat for travelling. The base of the bag has been given a structured feel by the addition of an internal bag base made using repurposed plastic, PVC coated cotton - this is unseen but adds to the quality feel of the bag.
