Handmade Ceramic Mug
Thrown on the potters wheel in strong white stoneware, in a traditional curved form with a pulled handle.
Fired to 1260 degrees with a gorgeous midnight blue glaze to enhance the majestic humpback whale. The whale has been hand carved in relief and glazed to evoke swimming through the ocean. The inner glaze is a vintage white to enhance the cups throwing rings.
Each mug is approx 8cm tall and 10.5cm in diameter with a generous 400ml capacity for the fan of a large oceanic cuppa!
As with all kiln fired pottery each piece is unique.
Food safe and microwave safe, and although dishwasher safe it is always best to wash handmade items by hand.
