A lovely piece of timber picked up from a local supplier just before the pandemic, the supplier is no longer around but the wood is beautiful and very striking. It would make a lovely addition to a table, side board or kitchen for use with fruit or other food items or just for decoration.

Full description
Elm Fruit or Salad bowl, 240 x 60 mm, with a food safe finish. A large and striking Elm fruit bowl, it has a slightly closed form shape, with an in-turned rim, it has a good stable base. The colour is a redish brown, with streaks of different shades, it has a knot in the base which makes the pattern of grain even more interesting. Between the streaks and grain pattern the wood has a very fine pattern of checks and swirls.
