Inspiration
Nothing quite screams 'Summer' to me than when the sky is full of swallows swooping and diving. The air is filled with the sound of their squeaky chirps and twitters.
We feel truly honoured that these amazing little globetrotters choose to nest in our field shelter here at Bramble Cottage. Every year we eagerly await their arrival.
This is my second swallow painting, the first being fledglings in a row. In this stylised painting I wanted to cinvey some of the movement of both the adult bird in flight and the chick in the nest. I used pencil swirls and lines to achieve this.

Full description
An open edition signed high quality print of an original stylised mixed media painting of swallows. The original was paintedwith watercolour. I then used polychromos artists colouring pencil with drawing inks and finished with some ink and paint splashes. Each print is professionally mounted and cellophane wrapped.
Measurements
Including the mount the print is 305mm x 410mm ( 16 x 12 inches)
The print will be wrapped in tissue and packed in a sturdy box with ' signed for' delivery
