Inspiration
These feisty little birds add a flash of colour to our garden. Last year a pair built a nest in an Acer tree which I can see from my kitchen window.
It was a very stormy Spring and I feared for the chicks in the nest as I watched the branches shake in the wind.
I needn't have worried though. The nest remained long after the chicks had fledged and the leaves had fallen. In the Autumn I could see it was very securely attached to three branches and there it remained battered by everything Winter could throw at it.
He is drawn on pastel paper. I used polychromos artists coloured pencils.

An open edition signed high quality print of an original drawing of a Goldfinch. Each print is professionally mounted and cellophane wrapped.
Measurements
Including the mount the print measures 303 mm x251mm ( 12 x 10 inches)
The print will be wrapped in tissue and packed in a sturdy box.
