Full description
These beautiful earrings were inspired by raindrops streaming down the window pane.
Hand cut copper plate hammered to add texture with textured copper washers soldered in the centre which in turn hold circles of polished mother of pearl to add luminescence and shimmer.
Textured copper wire dangles and green and iridescent seed beads symbolise the falling rain.
Finished with hand made copper ear wires with more seed beads to complete the design. Oxidised to give an antique finish and sealed with a silicon wax polish.
The copper I use is recycled copper plate and electrical wire...I love the fact that something has been used in a practical and useful way can be given a new lease of life as beautiful jewellery
They measure approx. 2cm in width and the drop is 6cm
