My family have always loved horse racing and living really close to Cheltenham Racecourse, it is somewhere we go regularly. I always take photos when I go. This image is of a horse in the pre-parade ring just before his race.
I originally painted this image on a slice of wood.
I love how the contour of colours and tones bring out the depth and curves around his neck and face.
