Full description
A fabric coaster made in batik cotton free motion machine applique on Essex Linen. I sketched the frog design before transferring it to the fabric and stitching. It is backed in the batik fabric used in the design on the front.
The coaster is lined with wool wadding which gives good thermal protection. All of the coaster is biodegradable!
The coaster measures approximately 4.5 inches x 4.5 inches.
The coaster is presented in a biodegradable cello bag sealed with a paper sticker
I would suggest spot cleaning of any marks although I have successfully washed my prototype by hand using a wool wash product.
This type of raw edge applique naturally frays slightly over time, and to me is part its charm.
