I take my inspiration for each piece from the stone itself and very rarely plan a design, I just let the wire decide where it wants to go.

I have used sterling and fine silver wire to wrap and weave around this pretty ruby to make this striking necklace.
The thicker wires are sterling silver and the weaving wire is fine silver which is 99% pure.
Once complete I have oxidised the pendant to age the silver then hand polished it to this beautiful antique finish.
It hangs from an 18 inch sterling silver chain with a handmade clasp that I have oxidised and polished to match.
The pendant measures approximately 19 mm (3/4 inch) at it's widest point and 48 mm (1 7/8 inch) to the top of the bail.
Your pendant will arrive in a gift box and I am happy to gift wrap it for free – just leave me a note in the Note to seller box when you check out.

Any tarnishing which occurs over time can be gently removed with a silver polishing cloth.
