Prints of mountains, wild places and water, with a few macro/nature photos sneaking in. Until recently I was working with 35mm film, but rising costs have meant a swap to digital. Starting to enjoy the increased flexibility!
Where original images were captured on 35mm film, they have been developed, printed then scanned at high resolution. The print you buy will be from the resulting digital image, printed by a reputable printing service. Digital images have been through post processing and may have undergone some enlargement -the prints you buy will print at 300dpi minimum.
The images you see in this shop are lo-res with a watermark, which will be removed in the final hi-res product.
This was taken walking up into Ffynnon Llugwy as a storm was clearing. Bit more detail here: https://stephentyrrellphotography.wordpress.com/2013/05/07/ogwen-valley/

Full description
A high quality print of dramatic light in the Ogwen Valley, with Tryfan shrouded in cloud.
This image was captured on 35mm film -the resulting photo has been scanned at hi-res and given light post-processing to reflect the original image/scene. The print you are buying is from that image.
Options:
Available in 12x8, 15x10, 18x12
Prints are produced on Fuji Crystal Archive C-type paper, whereby images are exposed to the light sensitive paper and chemically processed, producing a print of unsurpassed image stability.
Fuji Crystal Archive is a smooth and glossy paper, which accentuates the colour to give a punchy, rich feel, with intense highlight and shadow depth qualities.
Images shown are lo-res: the final version will be considerably better, with watermarks removed. On receiving your order, images will be sent to the printers for production, returned for quality control and then despatched. Turn around time may therefore be a little longer. Prints up to and including 12 x 10 are packed flat, larger prints will be rolled and supplied in a postal tube.
