A lot of the seaglass I find is not suitable to make jewellery with, but still has a beauty of its own. By using it to make other decorative home or garden items I feel the seaglass can still be celebrated. I hope you agree.

Seaglass collected from Withernsea beach, East Yorkshire, has been used to make this tea-light holder. The base has been formed by fixing a mix of seaglass and seapottery together. The walls have been made using mainly pale blue and white seaglass. The holder measures approx 11x10cm and the walls are between 3&4 cm in height.
Each piece of seaglass is unique due to the action of the sea, sand and stones on the glass as it moves along the seabed, the length of time it has been in the sea and the original make up of the glass.
This will be sent out using 2nd class small parcel post.
