Wood lace agate is also known as petrified wood. It forms when the decaying cells of a tree are gradually replaced by sediments from mineral-rich water, over hundreds of years forming a stone mould of the original wood.
Moss agate runs from sage green to a deep forest green and from semi-opaque to semi-translucent. Cloudy swirls of these varying greens seem to have tiny filaments of moss trapped inside.
Both stones have a strong visual connection with nature

Full description
A Czech glass amber-coloured dagger hangs below 6mm beads of moss and wood lace agate, and a 4mm moss agate bead, separated by 3mm copper rounds.
They hang from gold vermeil ear-wires.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with gold, and the wires are stamped "925".
These drop earrings measure approximately 2 inches (5cm) excluding the wires.
Presented in a small organza bag.
