In our house no special occasion can pass by without hanging out the bunting flags and birthdays are absolutely no exception - even the dogs have their own fluttery decorations!
Over the years I have hoarded far too much fabric so I have decided to make a new range of 'Happy Birthday' bunting using up some of my favourite patterns. Some may be 'one-off' versions so if you see a colour combination you particularly love, do snap it up when you see it as I may not have enough fabric left to make an identical string.

Full description
Bring a touch of fluttery cheer to your celebrations with this jolly ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ bunting in shades of red and cream. A perfect antidote to plastic decorations, this bunting has been sewn from a mix of three different floral fabrics (including some lovely Tanya Whelan designs) and can be brought out for many Birthdays to come!
The words ‘Happy Birthday’ have been hand cut from red felt and then machine stitched in place. The flags have been sewn onto co-ordinating red and cream stripy ribbon for a vintage feel. The bunting comes with its own storage bag so that it can be safely stored between celebrations.
The bunting consists of two strings of lettering with the word ‘Happy’ on one string and ‘Birthday’ on a second and they have been designed to hang underneath each other - see photos. Each string measures approximately 1m 35cm with additional 40cm ties at each end. Each individual flag measures 15cm across and 18cm from point to tip.
