Full description
A3 (29.7cm x 42 cm) 2-colour linocut / screen-print entitled 'Mevagissey, Cornwall'.
This a view looking across the harbour in the small fishing village of Mevagissey, on the south coast of Cornwall. I was really taken by the clusters of houses and slopes on the steep banks facing the harbour.
I really love the seaside. I live in Yorkshire, so normally focus on the Yorkshire coast, but in recent years have been travelling regularly to the south of England in the summertime, and found some wonderful places and views.
Dark blue and light blue System 3 inks on off-white 250gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 60, signed, titled and numbered. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print image measures H25xW18cm.
The paper measures H42xW29.7cm.
Printed by myself in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
