Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

I keep getting drawn back to recreating my memories of being in this lovely, peaceful place, lingering on this slip of a beach with the rain clouds closing in and the wonderful stormy light over the Isle of Arran across the water.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This original linocut print is based on photographs I took on the small beach at Skipness, Kintyre, looking towards the Island of Arran. I have created several prints based on photo's I took here.
This print was created at home using the back of a dessert spoon.
This is the 2nd of an edition of 10 prints. As this is a reduction linocut print there will be no other prints made from the plate, as the plate is destroyed during the creation process.
The artwork is printed in Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Winsor & Newton Smooth Grain Cartridge Paper (220gsm).
The print measures 6 inches by 4 inches. The paper is hand cut to approx. A5.
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
I will send the print out to you via 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas. I charge full postage for the highest priced item, then 20p for each other item mailed within the same envelope.
