I got a job in a mirror shop making "comp" frames, which inspired me to make a similar style table lamp. This is one of a batch of three. (My wife wants to keep one, the other two are being offered on folksy). It is a bespoke item: "wood carving, lathe turning, ornamental turning and air brushing, with 24 carat gold leaf, guilding wax etc I have put a couple of "in progress "shots in, as I did enjoy making it... it took quite a while, hence the high price....

This is a table lamp I have been working on since August 2021, using various woodturning, ornamental turning, hand carving and various colours of see through stain to allow the wood grain to shine through, over which gold leave then gilding wax has been applied, to make a unique table lamp. As I have so many and need room for the next batch, this is being offered for sale. Please note, it is wired and I have tested the continuity, and used it to make sure it works and for the photos... there is a steel tube with a nut at each end through the middle, but as I am not a certified electrician I will remove the plug and the buyer will need to ask a competent person to check the electrics before use. The bulb and the shade are not included. The switch has a safety feature that it will not work unless a bulb is in, a BC cap, so do not try and turn the switch unless a bulb is in as the switch easily breaks if forced! please note they are "used" lamps, having been used by my daughter for a month.
