Full description

This necklace is inspired by the idea that it's our imperfections that makes us interesting. Hearts can be scuffed but solid.

The pendant is completely unique. It was made using the method of lost wax casting - I carved the heart shape into jeweller's wax by hand, which was then cast into sterling silver. The original wax heart is melted down ('lost') in the process, leaving a solid silver heart in its place.

I have purposely left the file marks on the surface of the heart, giving it a worn, earthy feel.

The chain is a sterling silver 'spiga' chain and measures 18 inches. The pendant itself measures 1.9cm tall and 1.4cm across at the widest point.

Will be carefully packaged in a gift box.
