I’ve been wanting to make a valentines tree for a while, but sometimes the inspiration or results are just not working.....I tried a couple of variations first but they just didn’t work. Then I found some wonderful linen fabric and thought it would be fun to try. I’m delighted with the result, they are justice the right mix of colour and love I think. Something for valentines, but a cute little tree of love for all year round. And they work so well with my other little trees!

Another collection of the ‘little trees of love’ to go with my range of cotton reel trees.
A mixture of freemotion stitching and hand embroidery on a printed linen with lovely wool felt appliqué leaves.
This would look so cute in lots of settings, I stand mine on the piano, bookshelf or mantle.
Quirky, vintage inspired, folk art....it fits into lots of buzz words.
Standing between 15-20 cms tall.
