I make things for your home and your coat...quirky things made from fabric, felt and vintage things.

Hello! Thank you for finding my little shop, my name is Jane and I live in North Milton Keynes, the land of roundabouts, wonderful parks and public art!
My shop is for people who love textiles with a vintage twist, I use vintage haberdashery and fabrics combined with my own Lino prints and embroidery. The work is quirky and unusual and fits into many home settings and styles. Everything is hand made by me, some little runs of things but all individual.
My degree in fashion and textiles didn’t lead to a glamorous career, but it did give me a sound base from drawing, designing and creating. I’ve been making ‘for your home and your coat’ for over 10 years, developing ideas and creating wonderful things I hope.
I love vintage fabric, some I’ve had for years, long before I started to make with them. I'm so thrilled with my vintage fabric clocks, adding a splash of colour to a shelf or wall space. I could also make a fabric clock out of your own vintage treasure, do message me for details and ideas!
The optimism of mid century is what we all need now I think.
I usually run my own textile workshops and am always looking to encourage people to have ago at new techniques for them selves, my embroidery kits give you the opportunity to explore hand embroidery and play around with stitches in a creative way.
