Exhibiting with Sheffield Printmakers at Dronfield Hall Barn 1st December to 7th December
Developed from a challenge I set myself to combine original prints and photographs on the theme of home in the wider context and representing aspects of my home city. Sheffield being famous for stainless steel, the work has a photo of the 'cheesegrater' car park used as a container for mono-printed peonies inspired by my garden. Flecks in the block print four seasons background represent windblown seeds and growth. Earth is a mono print using rosemary sprigs for texture on Japanese paper completes the work.

A semi abstract framed work, a mixed media hybrid collage, using original prints and a photograph, it is mounted on board and framed in black.
It measures 48H x 43W cm.
