I love hares, I find them such magical creatures, I get so much pleasure from creating them and giving them little personalities.

Woodland whimsical Hare
This hanging hare measures approx 12cm in length
This woodland Hare is made from 3mm birch plywood
I have used watercolour and ink to create the design and also to colour the little wooden oak leaf ruff and wooden acorns. He is plain wood on the back apart from my stamp.
The acorn and leaves which I have hand coloured are attached to the hare using very strong glue,
The hare has been protected with a fine lacquer, he is for inside use only and should be wiped with a dry cloth to clean.
He is hung on jute string.
