applique and free motion embroidered mini skull brooch - lime green.
squishy skull heart fabric brooch or pin, measuring about 4cm.
the teeny white cotton skull is layered onto a lime green kaffe fasset cotton print heart, and is appliqued & embroidered freehand onto hand dyed cotton calico.
the hearts are made from heavy weight calico.
they’re lightly stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852) and finished by hand.
the brooch back is securely hand stitched.
the hearts themselves have been made entirely on a domestic sewing machine, everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me.
due to the very nature of human hands & free motion embroidery, each heart will vary eeeever so slightly.
