Full description
I made this as a blanket in a combination of yarns. In one hand there is pure undyed wool from a farm in the Isle of Arran in Scotland where I went on holiday a couple of years ago. In the other there is soft mohair in a lighter version of the same taupe hue.
Thought if I knit it in lace, it will have texture, show wonderfully the natural beauty of the wool and still be light enough to drap over the shoulders.
Once finished I realised as a blanket will not get a second look but once on a dummy's shoulders is a show stopper.
