A Bear Hug in a box makes a perfect gift!
Each of these lovable little bears has been individually cut out by hand (I don’t use a pre-shaped cutter as I don’t want them to be all the same!) and their features added with care. After biscuit firing I use coloured underglazes to decorate and then seal with a clear shiny glaze. After a very long firing in the kiln at 1220 degrees (phew....that’s very hot for a little bear) they are cooled down and finished with some colourful cord. Popped into a straw bed in their own Bear Hug pillow box they are just too cute for their own good!
The bears measure about 8cmx6cm.
