Full description
This one of a kind, handpainted miniature diorama features a tiny steamboat out on the ocean wave, with windswept clouds and a piece of vintage OS map as a backdrop. inspired by my love of the sea and all things nautical. Each diorama I make is completely unique.
The design comes from original drawings which have been transformed into layers of laser cut and engraved wood, which I have then painted by hand and built up to form 3d layers and set into an white glazed wooden box frame, which measures approx. 11.5cm; the scene itself measures approx 8cm x 8cm x 1.5cm.
To show its details clearly, this item is pictured without its frame glass.
