Achmelvich Bay is a stunning little cove of white sandy beach surrounded by rugged hills and land, on the North West of Scotland. When I last visited the water was icy but so clear, the air was crisp and I felt content and a calmness about me. I want to deliver a print that captured this essence. Bothies well I'm obsessed if you have not already realised xx

Full description
'Achmelvich' is an original Linocut print in five colours, inspired by the beauty of the Scottish coast in the North West of Scotland.
Oil based relief inks on 270gsm high quality Bread and Butter cartridge paper.
I printed this linocut in my studio at the Bath Artist Printmakers. I used a traditional book press along with traditional printmaking methods; due to the nature of the print process all prints will have slight variation making them unique to you.
Paper size A4 (21cm x 29.7). Will fit a standard A4 frame.
A small edition of 50, signed, titled and numbered by the artist, me! The print you will receive may not necessarily be the edition number shown.
The print will be wrapped in tissue paper and sent in a protective brown tube or wrapped in tissue paper and protected in mountboard/pulpboard/cardboard for posting. Minimal plastic.

How to care for this print:
Because of the transparencies I have used in this print the ink can be more delicate than normal. Remove packaging and frame behind glass, with a mount or a box frame so the print does not come in direct contact with the glass. Place/hang away from strong sunlight.
