Primitive doll with her dog - on a lead of course!
They are made from coffee and cinnamon dyed Osnaburg fabric, sanded back for a primitive aged look. They have embroidered features and flushed cheeks. She has embroidery thread hair. Dog has felt ears and tail ,a leather collar and lead and has a tiny key on his collar. Her clothes are a cotton skirt and a brushed cotton shirt- she has painted on boots with embroidery thread 'laces'.she has jointed legs so that they would hang over the edge of a shelf ( her arms have had the same treatment so that they can be put in different positions.
Overall she is about 46 cms and is about 24 cms sitting ,dog is about 8 cms and is freestanding.
These two are sold as collectable art dolls and are not suitable for children.
