I used translucent and opaline polymer clays to create a cane. This is where various colours, and shapes, of polymer clay are put together to create a kinda log with a reoccurring pattern running through it. Not unlike a stick of Brighton rock. I then wrapped the cane in a thin layer of gold leaf.
The leaves dangle from a 3mm x 2.2mm silver plaited curb chain and at approx. 19” 48cm dramatically falls just below the throat. A lobster claw clasp makes it easy to put on and remove.

Non fussy packaging. I paste vintage magazines, annuals, books, music sheets, or my own hand painted designs onto reclaimed cardboard packaging.
Why?
A) It's cheap and keeps costs down
B) With so much packaging floating round it's nice to recycle.
C) There's something rather therapeutic in gluing paper onto card.
