I love working with polymer clay because it is colourful and lightweight, so the perfect material for Christmas decorations. I use the same technique I use for making jewellery, blending festive colours into canes, which I then cut and lay out to create random patterns.
The canes I've created use blends of colours that evoke Christmas to me: red for holly berries and Father Christmas; green for holly leaves and Christmas trees; glitter white for snow, and glitter gold for the lights that sparkle on dark winter days.
A decoration that will last many lifetimes, making this the perfect sustainable gift this Christmas.

Rattan wreath decorated with festive red, green & white millefiori polymer clay mini-wreaths, stars and baubles.
Each clay decoration has been cut from my own handmade canes, which I slice and lay out to create random patterns. No two pieces are ever the same! They are attached to the 30 cm rattan wreath with tarnish resistant brass wire. (The wreath measures 37cm at it's widest point.) A red satin ribbon is threaded at the top for hanging.
