Please note I only post to the UK.
There will be colour variations between skeins, and so I recommend alternating skeins (or using both ends from a centre pull ball) to avoid any pooling issues. This is recommended for any hand-dyed yarn.
Any skein can be wound into a cake before posting, please allow an extra day processing.
Any colourway can be dyed on any base but will require a 3-week turnaround, as I don't always have all bases in stock and may have to order additional skeins from my supplier. Please message me to arrange.
Every effort has been taken to reproduce colours accurately, but there may be unavoidable differences between screens.
I use British wool wherever possible, including Teeswater and Blue Faced Leicester wools, and Australian Merino since there are no British Merino sheep.
In a book I read recently, there's a mural with the words Memento Mori, "remember you will die". Through the course of the story, the main characters view of the mural, and understanding of the sentiment, changes from a nihilistic "we're all gonna die so what's the point", to an optimistic "we're all gonna die so make the most of today". This resonated with me, this last few years has had me swinging wildly between the two. I love not only the aesthetic of the Memento Mori movement, but also its ambiguity depending on the observers' state of mind. So here it is in yarn form. I hope you see the optimistic side, but if you don't, nihilism is valid too.

Memento Mori is a hand dyed yarn, in shades of black, grey, reds and purples.

75% Superwash Merino Wool 25% Nylon Yarn
Superwash merino wool is combined with nylon for a very durable and springy yarn, designed for items that will be worn and washed a lot.
Approx. 200m per 100gm hank
Recommended Needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 22sts x 30 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 4mm (US 6) needles
Care
Cold handwash and dry flat recommended.
