My world of donkeys! Those familiar with my prints might be aware that I create a lot of prints featuring donkeys. I don't think they are championed nearly as much as they should be in the art world, so I feel it is my job to do so.

Full description
This is a hand-pulled screen print entitled 'The Donkey Garden No.1' printed in blue/grey and green.
This is one of my many prints dedicated to donkeys and the weird world in which I portray them. When I started my donkey prints I originally wanted just to celebrate them, as I felt that they are a rather undervalued creature (in art and life) but things have developed from that idea!
I decided to try and create a secret world that only donkeys know about, full of intriguing and slightly confusing features for them to explore (plus an occasional helping hand!).
Blue/grey and light green System 3 inks on White Seawhite 280gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 50, signed, titled and numbered.
The print image measures H24xW16cm.
The paper measures H29.7xW21cm.
Printed by myself at my home studio, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints. I created the image initially as a linocut print, and then transferred the image to a silk-screen to hand-print the edition.
The print will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
