Welcome to my Folksy shop.
All the items in my shop are handmade by me using 100% recycled sterling silver and genuine semi precious gemstones.
If you see a design you like but would prefer a different gemstone, I can make to order.

Full description
This necklace has been made using a carnelian drop bead and sterling silver wire and chain.
The carnelian bead is a warm burnt orange in colour with yellow to clear inclusions.
Carnelian resonates most strongly with the sacral chakra. It has a warm grounding energy to it, which is said to help with creativity, confidence, courage and power. It is also said to help to bring projects to a proper conclusion & dispel confusion.
It has connections to the pagan goddess Brigid, who is the goddess of the smithy as well as poetry and healing.
As such this necklace may help goldsmiths, silversmiths & blacksmiths with creativity & design and wordsmiths with writers block.
The carnelian drop is approximately 15 mm in length and has a small silver ball at the base and a wrapped loop at the top.
A 16 inch / 40 cm (approximate) length of sterling silver figaro chain is threaded through this loop and finished off with a sterling silver hand made hook and eye design clasp which makes it easy to do up and undo.
Suitable for everyday wear or to a special occasion, this necklace would make a nice present especially for a creative person or someone who is interested in crystals, the chakra system or meditation.
The necklace comes in a gift box with a card explaining the properties and is sent by 1st class Royal Mail postage.
