I love the alchemy of hand dyeing.
I have used extracts, kitchen scraps and foraged locally.
This year I have grown plants to extend my knowledge.
I grew Weld, Marigolds, Coreopsis, Woad, and Madder.
Though I have to wait a few years for the Madder, the results from the other plants are
shown in the colour of my Garlands.

Full description
Hand-dyed with Weld, and over dyed with Woad, Silk Tree Garland.
The silk fabric is from my store and the Weld and Woad from my garden.
The tree is double faced and 10 cm at its widest point.
Eight trees are stitched onto a cotton tape, approximately 160 cm in length.
Hand worked loops, for hanging, at either end.
The Garland comes in a hand dyed, Cotton fabric bag, 15 cm x 16 cm.
