Hello and welcome to my shop.
I've always loved making things and worked as a Graphic Designer for over twenty years. Nowadays I experiment with paints, fabric, collage and clay and particularly enjoy combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, unique mixed media pieces.

Add a pop of colour to your home and brighten up a shelf with this quirky mixed media artwork.
The eclectic mix of treasures are housed in a wooden compartment box which has been painted with black acrylic paint. I've created the backgrounds with acrylic paints, wood block prints, sections of fabric with African mudcloth prints and decorative papers from old books. There are also a few polymer clay pieces which I've debossed and painted.
Other treasures include bone beads (one in the shape of a fish), Picture Jasper beads, a large oval Czech glass bead, vintage button, pretty scallop shell, jewellery findings, a metal lizard, and dried Wallichi seed pods.
The overall size is approx. 24cm wide x 33cm high and 4.5cm deep.
The box is free-standing.
