On an autumnal walk, I saw fallen sycamore seeds amongst the leaf mulch, and immediately they reminded me of a hare's head and ear in profile. To my surprise, when the seed pods have split open, it reveals a silky soft interior just like downy fur.

Handpainted in acrylic, with a handpicked sycamore seed for head and ears, on a disc of ash about 7cm in diameter. It hangs on a red and white cotton cord. Two available.
