This little hoop features three skeleton trees set in a landscape of gently undulating ground; the sky above sparkles with 3mm rose-gold coloured sequins and tiny french knots.
The colours used in the piece take their inspiration from the lovely pinky-browny-grey neutral tones of sepia photographs.
All elements of the embroidery have been hand-cut and hand-stitched by me to my own design. I also hand-painted the 3" (7.5cm) diameter wooden embroidery hoop used to frame the work with acrylic paint.
The back of the hoop is neatly finished with a circle of white felt, signed by me. A hanging loop of white waxed cotton is included (attached to the top screw mechanism). If you prefer, the work can be displayed on a small plate stand (not included).
Please note that the ivy leaves in the main item photo are props and are not included.
The textile art will be sent to you in a premium white presentation box (approx dimensions 10.5 x 10.5 x 2.0cm) lined with felt to match the piece.
Photos 1 - 3 show the piece you will receive. I often re-make designs, but tiny variations in the stitches occur each time ensuring that each item is unique.
Postage to UK addresses is via Royal Mail First Class Large Letter Service and I always obtain proof of postage.
