Cornish Storm Large Mug Made to Order -Hand formed in my Cornish Studio, Sparrows Nest in the South West of England. Beautiful hand made stoneware ceramic mugs, formed with slabs of clay that are rolled with a rolling pin and shaped to form a mug. Inspired by those wonderful Stormy days in Cornwall. When you are on a walk and the skies are laden with heavy clouds, rain is running off your coats hood, and the wind whips sand across your face, your face is glowing with aliveness. Once home you fill your favourite Cornish Storm mug with tea and snuggle by the open fire under a blanket with your hands warming around your mug. Each mug is hand formed in a beautiful speckled clay. The glazes are the result of much experimentation to create dramatic landscape scene.
You will receive a mug from this series. As they are handmade no mug is the same. As they are hand formed with roll pinned and hands they will not be perfect, but perfectly imperfect.
Thank you for supporting my little business, it means the world to me.
They can be used on the dishwasher and microwave, however, I would advise if you can to treat well and gently hand wash to prolong the life of any handmade ceramic piece.
Made to order. Currently approx 2 week make period. Although this is currently a made to order mug as Ive sold out. I do often have mugs in various stages of the ceramic process so happy for you to make contact if you need it sooner..
