Full description
This chestnut horse has been sculpted from woollen fibres. The basic shape has been formed using core wool shaped with a barbed felting needle and then a top coat of chestnut coloured merino wool fibres has been added. The horse has a slightly darker mane and tail, four white socks and dark grey hooves, made using silk clay. The horse has been formed over a wire armature to add strength and stability.
This horse measures approximately 20cm long x 17cm tall.
This is an ornamental sculpture, and is not intended as a toy.
