I was asked to make a musical windwo 'sign' by a music teacher. This is what I designed.
I liked what I'd made so I made another and then another.... for my shop here on Folksy.
Postage is set for first class signed for to cover Royal Mail value limits.

Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A musical stave with a little tune which I've formed from 7 black glass nugget notes..
I've surrounded the music with a rainbow, 2 shades for each of 8 colours with the inside colour ring in lighter shades so the musical stave stands out better.
I've framed it with twisted wire for neatness and strength and it hangs from a strong silvery chain securely attached at the top of the suncatcher.
This is a lovely bright and cheerful suncatcher and perfect for any music lover.
The suncatcher is 6 inches in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain which s securely attached by solder to the top.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass.
