Welcome Rustic Country Style Crafts. You will see that I make a range of gifts from quilts, cushion covers, seasonal items, celebration banners, runners and I love using my old bed springs to show off many of my creations. I fell in love with the idea of creating my own Frosty the Snowman's Hat and adding it to one of my vintage bed springs. Great fun to create and I just love the way it 'wobbles' when you touch it.

Frosty the Snowman has many hats all created by the children as they finish off decorating their own snowman. When he starts to play with the children Frosty the Snowman really doesn't want to lose his hat, so he's added a sign to his so that there is no confusion when it's time for the snowmen to head home. Made using red felt the hat and mittens are both padded with crafters wadding. The snowballs are paper mache which I've dusted with 'snow' and 'glitter'. His nose has been made out of rust felt with crafters wire inserted to shape it. The trimmings are a mixture of artificial pine cones and ivy, silver bell and a crafters Christmas tree. Frosty's hat sign is made using recycled cardboard and it too has glitter around the edge to make it sparkle. Sits on top of one of my vintage bed springs which makes it really easy to put on display in the perfect place. Won't this be just a super fun addition to your festive collection?
