I drew the original sketch when we visited Blanchland in Northumberland at the end of December 2014. I remember there was light snow on the ground and it was icy underfoot and it occurred to me then that I might like to develop this image into something more imaginative. Nearly eight years later I took the plunge to design a series of four Christmas cards based on sketches in the north of England into Christmas cards with a wintry theme.

Full description
This card is 5"x7" in size. It comes wrapped in a compostable cello bag with an envelope made from recycled paper. 'Season's greetings' is printed on the inside of the card.
