Double layered cream and autumn tones Baker Boy Style Crocheted Hat or cap for the lady who likes something a bit different.
Crocheted in two yarns both 100% Acrylic, the outer a cream Aran style yarn and the inner Bramwell Yarn. The outer and brim crocheted as one piece, providing a soft peak. The crown of the hat has been crocheted in a shell like style, allowing the inner ruddy pink brown Bramwell yarn to show through. The inner was crocheted into place as the cream yarn was reduced to form the tighter crocheted band and soft peak.
For decoration three cream, brown and caramel toned buttons have been secured to the sides and top of crown.
No animal fibres so suitable for vegans and those with a wool allergy.
This lovely crocheted hat is washable with care at 30'C, but I would suggest handwashing and shaping whilst damp.
This is a festive inspired style hat, for those in a jaunty mood. Crocheted in a continuous line, starting in the centre point of the bowl of the hat, all crocheted in one piece and increasing down to the body and decreased the number of stitches to develop the narrow band and increased to incorporate a peak. There are no seams in the body of the hat, the inner coloured joining as above.
The hat is simply trimmed as shown and described, but you could always further adorn it with ribbon or a brooch if you like, or wear it as it has been created.
This is a hat for the discerning person, or teen who likes to wear unique items.
