I've recently discovered crocheting with chunky recycled yarn and really love working with this soft T-shirt yarn. Its ideal for making baskets and containers although when buying online it's always a bit of a surprise what actual shade you'll receive, luckily I love this olive colour!

Full description
A set of two plant pot covers or baskets, crocheted in a super chunky recycled T-shirt yarn. The yarn is 90% cotton and its production helps tackle the waste produced by the fashion industry by recyling it into new textile yarn. The whole recycling process is dye- and water-free.
Items made from T-shirt yarn are all one-offs, the yarn thickness is variable and because shades are created by blending recycled fabric, each colour batch also varies. These two containers are made from the same bobbin of yarn so are the same olive colour. There is some slight variation in yarn thickness throughout both, so each is charmingly unique. Both are flexible yet sturdy and keep their shape.
Measurements: Large - approximately 14cm tall, 15cm across, (internal diameter is 13cm). Small - approx 10cm tall, 12cm across, (internal diameter is 10cm)
If used as a plant pot cover, the plant must be in a separate pot with a saucer, otherwise the surface it is standing on may suffer water damage. I know how difficult it can be to get the right size saucers, and if you only need one, why should you have to buy a pack of 5! So, I provide an option to buy plastic saucers that fit the containers for a small additional charge, if required.
Care instructions: I recommend a gentle surface clean with a damp cloth to remove dust but item may be carefully washed by hand at 30C, reshape whilst damp. Do not bleach; Do not iron; Do not tumble dry.
