Full description
I used to make this nativity scene as a free standing version with a tea light behind it. I had a light bulb moment and thought it would be good to make as a Suncatcher to hang in the window.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again.
The glass used is clear florentine glass for the stable - looks like the glass in my Grandmother’s bathroom. The figures have been made using bright blue corella glass, amber sea glass and bright red textured glass. Clear glass nuggets have been used for for the heads and star, tinned wire has been added for the stars points and shepherds crook.
This measures 10.5 cms wide x 19.5 cms high (including the star).
I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up on your window. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push it firmly onto the window.
