As always.... just rinse and wipe to best care for a wood spoon. Don't leave it soaking in hot dishwater or destroy it in a dishwasher machine...it doesn't enjoy or need such zeal. Every now and then (probably once a month when in daily use), I rub some culinary linseed or walnut oil into it when it has dried to replenish the wood.
They darken up over time and take on a friendly familiar personality.

Full description
A soup or stew or even punch ladle handcarved from sycamore wood.
A pan-hook is incorperated into the handle.
Cut from a natural branch crook, the ladle measures 13" long and has a 3" bowl.
Finished with culinary grade linseed oil and painted with artist's acrylic oils.
